My only question about volleyball is why do the people in the middle jump and fake like they're hitting all the time?
Distract the defense...same way in baseball a fielder fakes hes catching a ball to keep a runner from advancing...
It makes the defense hesitate and gets them out of position for when the real spike comes. Kinda like in baketball how you might use a headfake or hesi to freeze your defender
