I caught up reading the whole thread over the past week and half. A lot of nonsense and fugazi talk lately. Everyone sleeping, but this is our year to make a run for the playoff.
Predictions for the year:
In the SEC, LSU will have its best year since 2007 only losing one game to UF on the road and make the playoff. Alabama will lose its opener to USC and one to LSU eliminating them from the playoffs. Between UT, Georgia, and UF, the SECEast will surprise people as they look like the better division even though it's only due to easy scheduling. UT will only lose 2 games, but one of them will be to Georgia which will cost them the tie-breaker to get into the championship game. Auburn will be a .500 squad.
SEC Championship: LSU 11-1 v Georgia 10-2
Winner: LSU 12-1
In the Big 10, MSU will make a surprise in the east after losing to ND yet going on an inconsistent run to win the conference. They'll beat UM at home to continue their streak but lose to a young OSU in week 12. Michigan will also knock off OSU on the road, but their losses to MSU and Iowa will keep them out of the playoffs and championship game. In the west, Nebraska will rise as the best team, but still only a 9-3 squad which doesn't put a dent in MSU. The Big 10 is going to be a mess that last month.
Big 10 Championship: MSU 10-2 vs. Nebraska 9-3
Winner: MSU 11-2
In Big 12, OU will be the clear dominate team, but will have some hiccups losing to TCU and WVU on the road. Okie State will do their usual 7-0 start only to go 1-4 down the stretch. Texas will have a bounce back year with a 1st week victory against ND and 8-4 finish. OU is the better 2-loss team between them and MSU, but no team from the Big 12 is getting in the playoff this year due to the lack of conference championship game once again and for a final time.
Big 12 Winner: Oklahoma 10-2
In the ACC, Clemson dominates everyone as Watson guns for the Heisman and is the clear winner. FSU finishes with 2 losses (one to Ole Miss in the 1st week and other to Clemson) and miss the championship. Louisville has a solid season finishing 9-3 behind Lamar Jackson and Miami shows progress with a 8-4 record. UNC end up in the championship game with a 9-3 record again and we get another rematch.
ACC Championship: Clemson 13-0 vs UNC 9-3
Winner: Clemson 13-0
In the PAC 12, save the best for last. Rosen shows out all season with the best defense in the conference behind him and gets an invite to NY along with Watson, Fournette, and McCaffery. UCLA drops a game at home to Utah, but get over the Stanford problem twice beating them in the PAC 12 championship game. Stanford loses to UCLA and ND, but sweep through the north. SUC drops 3 games losing to Stanford, Oregon and UCLA after coming out hot against Bama. Washington and Utah have solid 8-4 seasons and Oregon has go out on a 9-3 record finishing 2nd in the north. Mora still sucks as a coach but lucks out this season with no injuries and shows improvement with the new offensive scheme changes.
PAC 12 Championship: UCLA 11-1 vs Stanford 10-2
Winner: UCLA 12-1
Independents/group of 5: BYU sabotages themselves with their overkill scheduling. Houston loses both OU and UL games. ND loses to Texas and SC leaving them out of the playoff conversation.
Playoffs:
Peach Bowl
1. Clemson vs 4. MSU
Fiesta Bowl
2. LSU vs 3. UCLA
Championship: Clemson v LSU
Champion: Clemson
