:scust: Iron Bowl the only GOAT candidate rivalry and its not close :francis:
Naw nobody but down south cats hold the Iron Bowl that high. When you think of top tier rivalries in sports its Ohio St - Michigan , Yankees - Red Soxs, Duke - Carolina.

Rosen is that good. Best nfl qb prospect in college right now but I agree ucla has too many holes and will find a way to blow a few games

Tennessee hasn't beaten any of their rivals in decades :pachaha:

They've beaten Georgia recently if that counts as a rival.

They owned Alabama from the mid-90s to mid-00s.

In general only Florida has owned them since the early 90s. And Florida has owned everyone in the sec until the rise of Saban's Alabama.

The rise in instate talent should help Tennessee become a more consistent power moving forward. The reason they fell off so badly the last 10 years is not only bad coaches but also a lack of strong instate talent. Same reason Nebraska fell off.

But instate talent in Tennessee has improved alot thanks to growth in the Nashville metro area. Tennessee in the classes of 2017-2019 is producing quality instate talent in the same class as Louisiana and Ohio. And the talent should only get better moving forward.

You guys better hope Butch Jones doesnt win the SEC or national title this year.

With the talent the state of Tennessee is producing in the classes of 2017-2019, he could build a powerhouse that lasts like Saban did with LSU in the early 2000s.

Look up ESPN, 247, and Rivals early lists of top players in 2018 and 2019. After Florida, Georgia, Texas, and California, it's Tennessee that is producing the most high end talent.

Right now the top Tennessee kids are going to Clemson and LSU. Jalen Ramsey went to FSU a few years ago. If Tennessee wins big those kids will stay instate and the Vols could become consistent winners like LSU thanks to a loyal pool of instate recruits.
