Some of these big rivalries are funny that way. Michigan only took 2 losses in the 90s vs OSU, ND went 14 years between losses to USC from 82-96,UCLA won 8 in a row vs USC in the 90s then USC flipped it back and won 11 out of 12 vs UCLA in the 00s shyt cycles sometimes.

What's funny is even and era with a 3-9 and 5-7 ...they still stayed and bowl games and win a sugar bowl

Yeah I remember during FSU 6-6 years they still were successful in bowls I remember then getting wins on UCLA,crushing Wisconsin beat West Virginia couple times and even got W against Spurrier for old times sake.
