They tried to use Russell NFL career as a determent against Jimbo but to be honest Jimbo should be applauded for what he's done with QB's in his career. shyt he even got Matt Mauck paid when he was LSU.

Was Jimbo a Bowden disciple

Jimbo coached at Auburn and LSU before coming to FSU in 07. If my memory right he was in good with Bowden's son Terry then he went to LSU when Saban took over at the end of 1999. Saban was trying to get him to go to Alabama when he returned to college so FSU/Bama and UAB who were going after him as HC were the schools fighting over him after him and Miles parted ways at LSU.

I'm high on a lot of our units secondary really sticks out to me though this year. I do wish our TE's were a little more impactful to be honest I would say that's our weakest position. OL is more of coach Trickett question we got the talent and depth as much as we've had in Jimbo's time just hope we can get a couple positions squared away.

Just depends on how our O line holds up. 3 new starters, 1 of which is a freshman " Michael Jordan from Detroit @Ed MOTHERfukkING G " if they hold up then we got a chance for a playoff run

Michigan State...

Best unit = RB, 3 studs that could all start but LJ Scott is the best out of the bunch. Secondary and LBs are looking great on Defense.

Worst unit = QBs...we had to use two of our backup QBs that game against OSU where Cook was out. One of these two mediocre single callers will be a starter. I remember O'Conner was skipping the ball off the ground on 15 yard out routes and shyt... I expect nothing more than a marginal game manager out of either of them. We'll be relying on our D and running game all year long.
