Yea the offense left a lot to be desired but it was the defense that was disappointing. If we had the defense from the year before we would have been in the playoff discussion

This is the main reason I ain't as high on y'all as I was last season.

I'm concerned about the talent level of your front 7. It ain't what LSU is used to.

Last year your best defensive lineman was a true freshmen (Arden Key) and your interior was not very good. LaCoutre and Godchaux are solid backup types for a title contender. They are not starting type players. Also I don't think your linebackers are very impressive either. Not a big fan of Kendall Beckwith.

Death Valley is the only reason I give y'all a chance versus Alabama.

Based on talent I think Alabama is much better on defense.

AJ Green, Julio, OBJ they all came from pro style offenses. Jamis Winston and Andrew Luck did as well.

Sammy Watkins, Nuk Hopkins, Martavis Bryant, & Andre Ellington came from "a gimmick" offense. As did Cory Coleman, Mike Evans, Tavon Austin, & Josh Doctson. Marcus Mariotta, Geno Smith and RG3 also. It's others but that all off the top of my head while driving

Way too early to say anything about those kids. They have to get in there and stay there for a couple of years, and produce. We saw Texas have high ranked classes in succession just like this before but couldn't produce when it counts (excluding the Vince Young year). Not saying Ohio State will, because I think they'll run through the Big Ten, but when they face off with somebody on a pretty equal talent level we'll see. Too many variables during a season, but they have talent.

Who are your top 5 recruits so far?

I know you have a high rated class but I have not seen much in the way of superstar talent going your way.

By my count most of the elite players are still uncommitted.

What school made the big splash as far as coordinator or just change in scheme on either offense or defense. I remember last year the offseason winner was Auburn but it actually ended up being Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma. Year before that Gary Patterson made a complete overhaul and went to air raid and TCU was a top 3 team.

Only player I like so far on your team is Ronald Jones II. He's Jamaal Charles 2.0. Adoree Jackson, Iman Marshall, and Juju Smith are overrated IMO.

If y'all can stay within 1 score of Alabama in the 4th quarter this year I might start fukkin wit y'all.
