Thats just a few though. Majority of teams have at least some form of spread in place. Only a few teams shy away from it like LSU, Arkansas, Stanford, Michigan, Mich St, Iowa, etc.

And even then most of those teams have went spread in one game or another.

They did have variety, they chose not to use it. They went read option and bussed Bama's ass........for 1 series

That's what I'm saying......shot themselves in the foot. It's clear they were trying to run the ball to win, because they didn't trust passing too much. Can't do that against Alabama's defense. You have to pass. Cam had to pass to beat them in 2010.
