Every time I think about Malzahn conceding the Georgia game by putting in a cripple Sean White against an entirely hyped up Georgia squad after that punt return, I think about how much I dont want Malzahn as my head coach anymore
the man's lost 2 straight games against a nothing team (no offense to any UGA fans) and in embarrassing fashion. The 2014 game, you gotta make your players realize that the world isnt over even if you aint playing for shyt and I already expressed how bad the 2015 one is...losing a lead you had for almost the entire game and ending up with nothing
I looked at that UGA game yesterday......and was surprised at how close it was. I didn't get to watch it last year, and after I found out AU lost I didn't take a look. The team is not that far off. Alabama didn't blow our doors off (it was a two score win for them), but we were overmatched because we didn't have a QB consistent enough to hurt them. The only SEC game that didn't look great was that LSU game. Auburn really has a hard time going down there and putting together a good game, but this year it's in Auburn so we know how that went the last time for them.
The defense will be better and deeper this year, just off of the strength of the d-line. We have JF3 to come in and run the zone read at least, if he's not the starting QB the first game. More (young) quality depth at wide receiver. More focused at running back (we know what we have there). It will be better than people think.
