I'm guessing you mean Dabo

He increasingly surrounded himself with better talent and assistant. Richt coaching choices got worse and he got worse at player evaluation......Watson......

I'm not saying he can't win games. Will he win the ACC? Win someone can prove his recent record of winning big games then please do. He isn't consumed by it.

I have my doubts. Let be reality in the ACC he is behind

Dabo
Jimbo
Kelly
Cutcliffe

And that what we know....VT, UVA have new staffs.

Honestly, I think he wanted to go the Spurrier route with QBs I'll be honest. How he let Watson get away from the state I don't know. I assume he let Bobo handle those duties and they thought Watson wouldn't fit there system. The last few years Richt hasn't done a bad job recruiting RBs(although Chubb thought about coming to USC until Spurrier didn't show up to his official visit).

As I said Richt is a top 5 ACC coach and I think he will do better then then in UGA.

Georgia fans should be happy you could have got Brad Scott instead.

clemson had a 5 year stretch leading up to last year where they didnt have a single regular season win over a team that finished ranked in the top 20 of both polls. richt is going into a division where the division champ lost to 3-9 south carolina. dabo won the acc in 2011 despite his team getting blown out 3 times in the regular season. he doesnt have to get miami to a 2001 level to eventually win the acc.

it wont be easy getting past fsu and clemson, but those two schools have also had a free pass the past decade, he gets miami good enough to put some heat on them and a favorable schedule and i certainly could see them winning the acc at some point. maybe he isnt the right man to get miami back to a national title, but i think miami fans at least would like to get to the point where theyre complaining about a 10 win season rather than hoping for one.

@The ADD alright we get it :pachaha: Richt didnt do well towards the end @ Georgia

No ones claiming Richt gonna win a natty :beli: We just saying he'll be good ~10 wins a year or so, including the bowl game.
Im pretty sure this man AVERAGED 10 wins at Georgia. To say that he can't do the same thing at a weaker conference is kinda crazy (and most of his best years there the East wasnt ass)

How he let Watson get away from the state I don't know.
shyt, let's look at ALL the talent he's let leave the state

3 out of the T10 in the state for 2015, 2014, & 2012 (and 2 of them transferred)
2 out of the T15 in 2013

Kirby has came in and locked 4 of the Top 7 in state

Richt is the definition of underachiever & medicore HC......and from this chick I know who use to be married to a UGA player, he's NOTHING like this holier than thou Christian image he tries to portray

I hear you. Miami fans seem to be more realistic about him than others oddly enough.

You might want to check that
Pretty much split between the two since 2010. I was very surprised, but it is what it is. He still didnt flop with the talent per se, he built one of the most consistent programs, and wouldve likely won big in 2012 and 2013 if the ball flipped a little differently, but it is what it is.
