Texas picked 5th in the Big 12 preseason poll. The disrespek continues.

Yeah, I agree. I can understand OU & TCU being picked ahead of UT. But Baylor has more on-the-field holes than UT does. Their defense this upcoming season is gonna be a sieve. They lost too much talent from last season & they've lost too many folks who were gonna contribute this upcoming season (Especially on the D-Line) becuase of the scandal.

On offense, Baylor will still be able to put up points. But, they're replacing their O-line with a lot of 1st-time starters. That plus the chemistry with the coaching staff (with Art Briles being fired & being replaced by a lameduck interim Head Coach who is an outsider) means the offense won't be as good as it's been the last few seasons. But they still have enough talent on offense to put up points.

I don't see how anybody can be confident in picking Okie St over UT. UT blewout OSU on the road in 2014 & OSU won a close game because of the refs last season. Now UT unanimously has more team speed & talent at the offensive skill postions than OSU does, while OSU has been struggling in recruitng the last couple years.

OSU winning 10 games last season was a fluke. They didn't have as much offensive skill talent as TCU, Baylor, & OU. That's why they had to win so many close games against mediocre teams & got blown out in all 3 games that they lost. The only thing OSU has over UT in 2016 is that that the game is gonna be in Stillwater instead of Austin.
