I think the theory here is that the Pac 12 champ will have 2 or more losses. Same with either the Big 10 or Big 12 champ. Thus letting a 1 loss non sec champ in.

Pac 12 is really balanced. Lotta good teams. No great teams. Could see them getting left out again.

Then all you need is an upset in the Big 10 title game or Oklahoma to lose 2 games and another power 5 conference gets shut out.

It's possible.

Problem is that's asking for an AWFUL lot. Not "impossible" but asking for a lot. And who's to say that LSU is the best 1 loss team in that situation as well.
