College football roundtable: Best uniforms

ACC: Pittsburgh

We’re traditionalists here, and few uniform changes got us more excited recently than Pittsburgh’s decision to revert to its signature script logo. The look harkens to the good ol’ days of Panther greats like Tony Dorsett and Dan Marino, and it has been well-received in virtually every corner so far. The logo was used from 1973-96, and the alternate versions now even feature a matted navy helmet. (For the record, Florida State’s old uniforms would’ve been our pick here, but the Seminoles changed jerseys in 2014.) -- Matt Fortuna

Is he better than Biggie? I still want Biggie on the squad. Should've came to The Real DBU.
Why you wanted him to go to LSU? :dahell:

But idk we'll find out soon enough, both should be great going up against out WRs every dayz

Our unis are still the best. fukk ESPN, they always got an excuse to throw shade our way.
Just like the shade with the best pregame traditions.

Yea, cause Pitt's uniforms are iconic :stopitslime:
If it ain't ours it's Clemson's when they rock the purple joints with the orange helmets.

Starting with Clemson ain't no help:mjcry: especially after your rival just beat them.

Got stomped out by LSU, UGA, & Bama after their miracle water wore off.

If they get dropped bad again he's gonna be out.

Nah, we have the defensive recruits to finally do something. Have a few big time quarterbacks committed for the next few years. Big time receivers coming in. People wish we would get rid of him, but he's not going anywhere. Pearl will have basketball rolling. Softball is bigtime now. Football is not far away from being back to the top. Jacobs not going anywhere either.

Kevin Steele though. He used to Blitz a lot unnecessarily.

Defensively, nah.....The dline- our main pass rusher was injured most of the past 2 years. Now there's some depth there with guys who have been in the program more than 1 year and some big time dline recruits coming in to add to the depth. A freshman d-lineman might even start over some of the older guys. The secondary has better depth than our national championship particpating 2013 team. Linebackers will have to wait and see, but it looks like they have a good chance to be better than than the last group that just left. More athleticism and better size.

remember that 2014 Iron bowl was 55-44.....We needed defense more than anything.

The offense will score points some way, some how. Just too many weapons not to. We have a quarterback that's able to run read option now. Maybe even a quarterback who can be pinpoint accurate. Running back will be a key area for the team this year. Good talent there. Tight ends and h-backs as well. The young receivers will have to come along, but they are big physical receivers.

So lets say Auburn goes 3-9 (not likely) and Gus gets fired. His buyout would be more as a result of the extension. Jacobs would not be a popular guy over there.
