The fact that Saban isn't at Texas is proof that the football program isn't the end all be all for this university. If it was, Saban would be at Texas. The president and Mack were worried about other stuff outside of football so they nixed the deal. I've heard that Herman wants to bring a similar support staff here, I doubt he makes much progress on it.

The only teams/schools that can do something about it are in the SEC. Once Bama gets in the playoff it's over for other schools. Saban has too much time and too many athletes.
