Yeah Tressel rolling over for USC back to back years kinda hurt me. OSU had no business losing at home to USC in 09 that was a bad loss. I think Tressel got a bad rep after losing to Florida and LSU honestly I think that 06 Florida team was just crazy underrated looking back due to a few close wins that team was pretty stacked on both sides of the ball. Tressel was outmanned vs LSU I don't even hold that loss against him that 07 OSU team had no business even being a title contender.

Big Game Bob I'm surprised you left him off he would've been my first guess he started out hot his first couple years but after losing to KSU in 03 he started looking chinny. I can rattle off 5 losses off top right now

USC in the Orange Bowl lose 55-19 after getting gifted another title shot brehs
2008 vs Texas and Florida went from scoring 60+ to punking out and scoring 14 in the big game
Fiesta Bowl losses to Boise and West Virginia
Oklahoma losing to Texas in 2013
Oklahoma losing to Kansas St and Notre Dame in 2012 at home
Oklahoma getting sonned vs Texas and Clemson in 2015 straight folded up in both.
They were competitive in most of those though, i'm talking about coaches who fold before the game has even started.

Stoops has a lot of bad losses but Stoops overall did a good job this year making the playoffs

Ou does not get near the same level of recruits that Bama Osu and the top schools do. So I think it's unfair to think they should be at that level every year but there are a lot of unexplainable loses.

I also think the big 12 in general has hurt Ou. It's become a soft finesse all offense conference so you have to build your team to play in and stop those air raid offenses and I think Ou has gotten soft because of it. There now a speedy but small team on the lines and just like the other teams in that conference when they play the very elite in the other conferences they can't match the size and speed those teams have in the trenches

Let's see what Riley does with his own players. I'm not a huge fan but it's hard to judge a guy at Oregon State. Not exactly easy to win there
Not easy to win at Oregon or Stanford either. Dude fukkin sucks

Nebraska wasn't that bad last season they lost some of the flukiest games I've seen a school lose in a season. You can say Pelini had those games go his way more times than not shyt Pelini would've canned a couple years before if he hadn't lucked out in some of those games.

Nebraska losses to BYU,Wisconsin,Illinois shyt even the Miami game were just some fluke shyt that rarely happens to a team back to back seasons.

That dude is trash

They been soft like charmin them years Stoops was first there they was ferocious on defense they been soft since USC crushed the buildings. It's funny too because Pelini was apart of that asskicking too being co DC with Venables. :blessed:

I wouldn't call him trash I know USC was in love with him they almost hired him 3 different times. He just came off as an odd hire for Nebraska in this time period. No connections to school kinda up there in age it was just a weird hire. Riley was a B+ coach to me he has done good work where he's been with vs limited resources he helped jumpstart OSU football when they were a big pile of nothing.

Riley has a 99-87 overall record for his career in CFB. He took over a dead in the water wishbone Oregon St offense and had them handing out scares 2 years later. I remember because they should've upset top 3 UCLA but lost in the final seconds and they even beat Oregon with Akili Smith. I think Riley could've took them to the next level but he left for the Chargers job.

To me he only has a few season I would outright call shytty and that was 2011 and 2014 at OSU those teams were not good at all. I think Riley wasn't that bad last season I like I said previously Nebraska had some heartbreaking losses in such a short span they ruin seasons Nebraska was a 9 win team if you level the playing field they weren't as bad as record shows. @Silkk their season was on par with what USC did last season to be honest the one bad loss was losing at Purdue but other than that I'm not seeing that much difference. :yeshrug:

USC 8-6, Nebraska 6-7

Both played UCLA and Won while both lost to Wisconsin

USC best win was vs Utah and UCLA while Nebraska's was Michigan St and UCLA

USC lost 4 games by 10 or more points Nebraska lost 1 by 10 points
