Not even tryna get at you but this is s serious question.

The Butch builds a good staff thing is that based on what he did 15-20 years ago or what he did at unc? Cause if its about nc I dive remember that staff being anything special.
what he did while at UM and Cleveland mostly

Dan Mullen is easily the #1 choice to take

man I just want this shyt to be over

will say this though, a candidate list of Butch, Schiano, Richt and Mullen is WAY better than last time, when we had to pick from Golden, Randy Edsall and Marc Trestman :scusthov:

Would he leave Miss State?

Richt played for Miami...Canes should take Richt.
Hell yeah he would, nowhere to go but down.

Mullen > Richt. Richt is an average ass coach. Mullen would recruit his ass off & that offense would light the ACC up.

Mark Richt quick facts

15 full seasons at UGA
9 times he won 10+ games
Finished in the top 25 11 times
Finished in the top 10 8 times
9 bowl wins
6 Division titles
2 Conference titles
Averages 10 wins a season
His 74 percent winning percentage ranked fifth-highest among active FBS coaches, behind only Ohio State's Urban Meyer, Oklahoma's Bob Stoops, Alabama's Nick Saban and TCU's Gary Patterson.

He wants out at least that how it seem from what I've read on Twitter from a couple of reporters.

At some point (I'm guessing now) he has to realize he's peaked at Miss State and its better to leave early and not say longer only to get fired when u can't break that bubble.

ppl keep complaining about Mullen's 1 back sets, lets not forget Dennis Erickson was doing that 25 years ago and won titles with it

the good thing about this crop is they are all accomplished guys who want the job, in '10 it seemed like they were beggin guys to take it, and the candidates were just terrible. even the worst case scenario (Schiano) would bring back aggressiveness to the D

im pretty torn, but am happy with the process. Blake James is doing his job, which is more than i can say for the last 2 birds they had @ AD

This is a pretty good read on his offense. How Dan Mullen's Mississippi State offense ruins your solutions

Admittedly I hate watching MSU play mainly because the quality of athletes is so low but his teams are well coach and play hard every game. Something this team has lacked over the past couple of years.

I think his offense would be great In Miami with the talent available to him but it would take some convincing for the traditional crowd who doesn't want to move away from the pro style.
