I'd gladly trade getting the best possible coach hired for a couple of recruits in year 1.
Seems like the BOT gave Blake James just enough rope to hang himself then step in and take this search over. Cause if reports are true that Blake 1st called Mike Shula to see if he was interested

and most of the others im fine with that. i like Sam Bruce's tape, but slot receivers dont make or break programs. we need to get our future QB, reload @ LB and corner, and get the best possible targets elsewhere.

it hasnt been as bad as i thought it could get, the core of the class is there just got a long way to go til NSD. add Homer and Wright as guys that need to stick. Wright has to add weight but looks like a baller, and we know all DB recruits are crucial

the thing is early enrollees are supposed to be finalized in 20 days...this includes some of the key recruits like Allison, Quarterman and a few others @Lee_Land @SoulController

Top Tier: Butch, Herman, Pagano, a surprise candidate like Hue Jackson
Tier 2: Fuente, Chud, Strong

If there going 5 million to buyout for Mullen get Gundy instead. He is cheaper, better and people actually like him. Foley didn't want him at UF twice

clap for Coach Scott, 4-1 under really tough circumstances. him and Beard should be retained. Beard really helped the WR's cut down on drops, and Scott obviously has alot of respect in the locker room and has helped keep alot of the recruits committed. Dobard has been a letdown, but i feel like Njoku can be a star. nice job to get him ready to play heavy snaps by his 2nd year
Butch is reportedly interviewing down at the Hecht this weekend, i wouldnt be surprised if they close the deal. the other named candidates are too much of a crapshoot, Butch will load us with talent at the worst. he can coach at a high level, the others just dont have the resume. Chip is staying imo, so is Strong. and honestly Charlie doesnt do alot for me
