In this day in age, why even have an official free agency negotiating period? The league would be naive to believe players and teams are waiting until July 1st to communicate with all of these ways to do it. I wonder what is the reasoning behind that.

Make fun of him being drafted before kawhi and klay all u want, whoever ends up with biyombo is walking away with a steal

The hornets were clearly better with him in the lineup but our bum ass front office is building the roster to cater to the worst coach in the league Steve Clifford.. who needs rim protection and rebounding when u have 7 foot shooters right?

Outside of Biymobo looking like another Jordan off-spring in the face I've never heard anyone seriously clown him here or in real life.

That 2011 Draft had gems all over the place.

Did you read the 'report'?
This?

Lastly, Chicago forward Jimmy Butler hopes to take his talents elsewhere and take advantage of the new television deal after his career year coincided with Tom Thibodeau’s firing and Derrick Rose’s chemistry issues. Although Butler wants to sign a one-year deal with the Lakers, according to a league source familiar with his thinking, the Bulls are expected to match any offer for the restricted free agent.

If this is true, and the Bulls are only keeping him because of RFA, then IMO RFA is bullshyt. No pun intended.

You'd prefer a league where teams couldn't retain the players they draft, invest in and develop? OK

I'd prefer a league where players can leave when their contracts up, and not be bound to whatever their team wants to match for them. You just sound hurt that Butler is rumored to want out.

No, you sound like someone without any regards for competitive balance

In your scenario, teams like Minnesota, Milwaukee, etc, etc would just be farm teams developing talent for the bigger markets

This would only help Chicago, so you can miss me with the hurt/mad talk

Ok bro, whatever you say. I'm sorry that Jimmy Butler probably doesn't want to play for your favorite team.
