I want Lopez but don't want Aldridge eating Randle's minutes. They're not winning a title this year.

Their depth would be pretty wild though. :ehh:

:mindblown:

You don't want Aldridge eating Randles minutes??? Aldridge is a proven big man in his prime who has averaged pretty much 20-10 for his career on a team that's in the playoffs every year. Randle is a 2nd year #7 pick who has played half of a fukkin game in the NBA and is coming off a broken leg. We don't even know if he's good at this level yet.....

I'm not a laker fan so idc but if I were them I would play Randle/ LMA at the 4/5, going small
than try to get Danny Green or someone like that to play the 3.
Or Better yet get a PG, play Russell at 2 and Kobe at 3.
That would be a deadly offense.
I hope Scott doesnt ruin Russell's career, his biggest NBA weapon may be his three pointer.

Randle broke his leg, not tore his achilles. :comeon:

This TEAM isn't in its prime, while Aldridge is. These guys need a few years to develop. Aldridge was missing the playoffs for two years before Lillard was drafted and 2014 was the only year he made it out of the first round in his career. Stop overrating this guy. :comeon:

More reports of Butler wanting to go to the Lakers...I'm only half kidding when I say that Restricted Free Agency is slavery.

Free agent Al-Farouq Aminu to visit Trail Blazers, per report
Joe Freeman | The Oregonian/OregonLive By Joe Freeman | The Oregonian/OregonLive The Oregonian

The Trail Blazers do not have a small forward under contract for next season. But they do reportedly have one lined up for a free agent visit.

According to David Aldridge, Dallas Mavericks free agent small forward Al-Farouq Aminu has scheduled free agent visit with five teams, including the Blazers.

His visit is not unexpected. President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey drafted Aminu when he was with the Clippers and knows his game and background well.

Aminu, 6-foot-9 and 215 pounds, has played five NBA seasons. He averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 18.5 minutes per game last season with the Dallas Mavericks. After playing in 74 regular season games, including 71 as a backup, Aminu was featured more — and played better — in the playoffs.

He started two of five postseason games against the Houston Rockets, averaging 11.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.6 blocks per game, while shooting 64 percent from three-point range (7 of 11).

The three-point shooting was notable considering Aminu, a career 28.6 percent long-range shooter, has hardly been a lethal shooter during his career.

In five seasons, Aminu has played for the Clippers, Pelicans and Mavericks, averaging 6.4 points and 5.3 rebounds.

Sergio Rodriguez, former Trail Blazers point guard, will eye NBA return after gauging free agent interest

Former Trail Blazers point guard Sergio Rodriguez on Saturday said he is mulling a return to the NBA this summer and will wait "to see how the market is" after the free agent period opens July 1.

Since leaving the NBA in 2010, Rodriguez has become one of the best players in Europe.

Rodriguez led Real Madrid to the 2015 Euroleague championship and was the 2014 Euroleague MVP. He says he has three years left on his contract, but said his contract has a reasonable buyout.

The Blazers, who traded backup point guard Steve Blake on Thursday, will be in the market for a backup point guard before next season. Rodriguez is a pick-and-roll specialist with a flair for passing.

Rodriguez played with the Blazers from 2006-2009, then was traded to Sacramento during the 2009 NBA Draft. He later played for the New York Knicks. He played 219 games for the Blazers, including 14 starts, and averaged 3.6 points and 2.9 assists.

Last week, Rodriguez and his wife, Ana, had their first child, daughter Carmela.

Wouldnt be surprised if Green was in the deal...it was looking like zbo, green were the only way to match salaries and i doubt mem is giving up both just for Joe. Unless they get a thrid team involved.

So close :sadcam:
