What can yall tell me about John Jenkins? What's the scouting report? Why did he fall off? He play defense? Is his shot on n off? Did he get comfortable after getting drafted n stop working?

Not mad at that he works hard and he played well for us a couple years ago. I like the moves they made this offseason , trying to put a team together that is good enough to sneak into the playoffs, but could surprise a team if Cousins is healthy and takes that next step to superstar big man

Doesn't play defense, not strong off the dribble. He's basically a spot up shooter who at his peak is a solid bench player. He never consistently broke the lineup here & was in & out of the D League...that's what your getting

Phoenix got 2 first round picks for dragic and he was expiring in a few months. Lawson has 2 full years on his deal and his contract is a bargain for his production

Riley desperately wanted to make the playoffs and the Heat were confident they could resign Dragic since Miami was on his list of preferred glamour teams.

additionally, Dragic isn't a degenerate alcoholic that was arrested for two DUIs in less than 6 months and did shyt like miss practice because he was getting shytfaced in Vegas.

Lawson didn't deserve the benefit of the doubt, breh. there's always the possibility this clown would've continued to fukk up and tanked his trade value to the point where we would've been forced to waive him.

they did the right thing by dumping this distraction and giving Mudiay the keys from day 1.

if we ignore the alcoholism - very good. top 10-12 PG in the league.

got better every year, always stepped his game up in the playoffs. awful defensively but he was never going to be a lock down defender at his height.

Injuries derailed him from being a Dell Curry type. He is a good spot up shooter. More of a scorer. Not really good off the ball. He mainly is a spot up shooter who likes to slash and isn't athletic enough to do it at the NBA level. His defense has improved, it's no longer the worst, now it's just bad. He is a smart player but he didn't fit what we do. I do think he's a better fit where he can Novak'd on offense. Atlanta, you have to move without the ball a lot. He is more of a stats player. Rebounds and gets steals for a SG. He can likely develop into a decent off the bench spot up shooter for a team who plays smart but doesn't demand so much movement within an offense.
