Adams was a rookie in those WCF & spent the whole year being told to just worry about defense. All he did his rookie season was finish easy layups & dunks. This past year he started getting post looks because of all the injuries, he's going to keep getting better, so saying he can't score is writing him off pretty early.

KD ain't going to be guarding those guys all game though. The last couple years the Thunders best lineups have been with KD at the 4 & Ibaka at the 5, so it isn't like they can't do it. Like I said though West, Diaw, & even Aldridge shoot jumpers more than anything else so KD guarding them for stretches of games isn't going to be a big deal.

The point of getting Kanter (& even Waiters to a lesser degree) is so that KD (& Russy) doesn't have to take 30 shots to carry us, & balance out the offense more.

Well I am going to say he can't score until he does something more than get put backs on offensive rebounds and finish alley oops...I'm not really into what a player could do or is projected to do, I'm into what they do right now...

And I feel pretty strongly every one of SA big men are backing Durant down in the post just because they can almost effortlessly, even though you are correct in that outside of Duncan all of them are face up jump shooting big men.

And are you sure that KD and Russ can run a real offense? Cause they been playing ISO ball their entire career so...

And I think you would rather have KD and Westbrook do anything with a basketball before they give it to Dion Waters for any reason...

Adams can do some stuff in the post, Brooks never ran things for him to work though because he's Scott Brooks & doesn't run post ups for anybody but Perk.

I don't think KD & Russy will have a problem running Donovans offense, it's heavy on pick & roll. The only problem running Donovans offense is Roberson not being able to shoot but being our best perimeter defender. Damn right I would rather those two make a play over Waiters, but if he can occasionally give the kind of help needed as 4th or 5th option most nights it's going to pay off not having those two forced to do everything & wearing themselves out.

the Jazz aren't touching Ty with a ten foot pole, though.
I put them in there because I've seen a bunch of Lawson Burke trades from jazz fans on realgm and Twitter. I doubt they'd give up burks but they may want him there if they're trying to win now and let exum develop for a couple years

That's considered good enough to replace LeBron?

Sure he's has had a lot of luck(Whiteside, Winslow falling to 10) when a bulk of his moves could've easily backfired(not tanking but maxing out Bosh, and trading future firsts for Dragic), but I'll give credit where credit is due.

Signed Deng to a 2 yr deal(he could've easily went full retard and tried to Max out Bledsoe last summer)

Signing Whiteside to a 2 yr deal(sure WS fell into his lap, but many GM's would of gave him a 1 yr deal as opposed to a 2 yr deal).

Gerald Green for a 1 yr deal.

Coaching and perimeter defense will be this teams downfall, but even with that in mind, the Heat are still contenders in the East. Sure Miami isn't a lock to make the ECF, but they still have a legit shot at making the Finals, and that's nothing to scoff at after losing the best player in the world.
