Clearly . Cleveland's starting 5 is making $75 mil this year. The cap is gonna be just under $70 mil. They are over the cap regardless. Tristan's deal has no impact on their ability to sign people because that ability is already limited by their cap situation.

Yup. You can't just trade some dude making $2 mil for a guy making $20 mil straight up, unless you have the cap room to make up for that difference. There is no hard cap unless you do a sign and trade while over the cap (I think ).

Only problem that the Spurs might have is that besides Kawhi & Green, they don't have much athletes on the squad and if they have injuries. Other than that, the best 3 teams in the West to win it are the Warriors, Spurs, & Thunder. Everyone except the Rockets have taken either a step back or haven't made much progress to catch up so far in free agency.

I'm not sure Knight and Bledsoe can play well together. Knight struggled after he was traded.

Phoenix improved how? The Morris Twins might be in JAIL and Tyson Chandler is good for about 20 games before he takes the rest of the season off to count his money. Their wings are a huge question mark too. The only reason PHX was winning like they were 2 years ago was because the league wasn't really ready to tackle their super unorthodox small-ball lineup. As team's adjusted, the foot went right back up their asses again.

They don't seem to know exactly what their building either with the PG lineups they keep building & bringing in Chandler to take minutes away from Len (even then both them dudes always seem hurt).

They didn't even tank though. The ONLY reason they're in the situation that they're in now is because they put irrational faith in the most questionable frontcourt in the entire "want to win" league and the fact that they alienated ALL of their free agents with the dragic/IT stupid shyt. They had a solid core going into the season last year and they did nothing but a take a giant step backwards in every regard. Wasted assets, FO on blast, frontcourt relies on a 32 year old center, a bum named Len, and two guys who are about to get a felony over a your momma joke. This could be their last season with ANY hope going into the year. Their GM better start with the miracles.
