When it worked- it worked but the Kobe/Pau dynamic meant a whole lot of other bullsh*t as well. Whenever it didn't work Pau was the scapegoat from Kobe, the team, the local sports radio, the LA Times, etc. We get the wins when the duo was successful but when the loses came that over shadowed everything.

IMO its best not to mention any "you'll be my Pau-Shaq" comments and just go fresh and brand new from here on out. On some "we got a hungry young core, I"m(Kobe) ready to ball at a high level again", don't worry about touches-we'll feed you, we're gonna add more pieces later, beautiful new training facility coming, etc". F*ck all that past history role playing sh*t. Go fresh 'n' new
Yea but it's probably hard not toentire Pau considering him and LMA are VERY similar players. They way LMA played in Portland was literally no different than how Pau played with the Laker. Mid range shooting bigs...that's probably why the comparison was brought up.

Yea if you want to be simple...

But the Kobe /Pau dynamic encompasses alot more than a 1st/2nd option. They had amazing chemistry and we're a highly effective combo. One of the best G/F combos in recent history. But hey...I'll let you be intentionally dense
They were also both in their primes. Kobe will be 37 when the season starts. :flabbynsick:
Timmy probably told LMA "I'll be your David Robinson".:blessed:
Kobe was like, "you can be my Gasol".:sas2:
:snoop:

Everyone would be cool with that. Thing is we'd have to trade Ariza as well. And pretty much anyone else making any type of money on the team.

But Portland picked up Aminu as a FA they don't really need Ariza in the trade. I'd keep him off limits.

Wouldn't Bledsoe have to be traded to get LA?

From what I have been reading its going to be a bunch of sign and trades. I think the Suns have Brandon Knight's bird rights.

I would say the Morris Twins, PJ Tucker, Bullock, and maybe one other player would have to go.

Man they shouldn't bring up Pau's name for sh*t. They got to get off that bullsh*t. There's no positive in bringing up his name whatsoever in a meeting with a big. Knicks in the same boat.. why they still running the triangle???:mindblown: Go brand new. Spit that new sh*t! The future is where its at!
