If not then I think Semih Erden would be his last international pick and that was either 07 or 08

Eh. I wouldnt count Fab as international..I guess partially. He didnt play long at Cuse but I mostly had the complete international, non US college playing guys in mind.

I actually liked Semih kinda. Thought he showed a bit of promise as a hustle big off the bench, just didnt have the talent and we gave up on him..probably because we were full contention mode at the time. He just didnt warrant minutes on those teams.

Interestingly enough, Danny very very rarely drafts international. When was his last international pick? I think we traded for Jiri (LaFrentz trade maybe?) and he was so trash that he may have just tossed that all in the bushes. GiGi and Jerebko were gems this year for us so I dont think he is philosophically opposed but would probably rather wait until they prove themselves rather than using a pick on one. Id like De Paula this year though.

As far as melo I think with Danny having the back to back firsts and getting sully that Danny swung for the fences on melo

Keep this in mind I don't know if it's the draft height machine or just the 24 hr sports media but practically annually every draft we tout the next big things and the majority of these guys seem to look better on paper than they do on the court...This draft could have 6 stars or 0 this shyt is crazy...would have me scared to pass on Kristops because Okafor can't defend and 3 years from now Oak is the only star in from the draft.
