Path to redemption? He's the only guy left in his whole organization that prefers Okafor. He's not the smartest man in the room. If he wants to ruin what's left of Wiggins and Bazz's time there, go right ahead. I'm almost comfortable either way he leans at this point.

An issue with Robert Upshaw's heart was identified by doctors at the NBA Combine in Chicago last month, which has forced him to suspend training and postpone all workouts with NBA teams. At this point, no long term conclusions have been reached, and further blood testing has been requested by NBA doctors to pinpoint the exact nature of his medical condition.

I spoke with 1 of my Western Conf connects earlier this evening about the upcoming draft. I was asking him if I was nuts for being so high on this draft class. His response was pretty alarming. He said that Top to Bottom this is one of the best draft classes he's ever seen. He said the hype of the 2014 class and the hype at the top of the 2016 class has taken away from how good the 2015 class actually is.
Few additional highlights from our convo below.

- There isn't a LeBron, Duncan or Magic in this draft...but there are a handful of future All-Stars and DOZENS of good pros mixed throughout the draft

-said the stash a Euro pool is very strong this year (his team is leaning towards a Euro and have narrowed it down to a few options)

-I admitted to having a man crush on WCS. He said "rightfully so". he would love to have him but knows his team has zero shot. Said WCS would be "IDEAL" fit on Celts, but doesn't think WCS will last very long...which I was bummed to hear

-I asked what he knew about Mudiay. He said his group really hasn't spent a lot of time on him and that he wasn't the right guy to ask.

-I asked about Robert Upshaw. He said whoever drafts him is pretty arrogant. He is "rooting" for the kid to make it but said the opportunity will not be with his team.

-I asked about draft sleepers. He said, "the entire draft is a sleeper draft".

And since I owe it to all my fellow Celtics fans, as always I bring up the Celtics even though he technically doesn't know what the Celtics are going to do. I asked who he expects the Celtics to draft. He had no clue, but reiterated what he told me last month in saying that "Danny means business"

- Take with huge grain of salt from a poster on RealGM..but he has broken news before and a lot of it lines up with what ive heard from my limited sources and reading the tea leaves. I think that guy has a connect in the Spurs Org but I may be mistaken

But there’s an even bigger concern regarding Looney, one that has definitely drawn the attention of NBA teams. Looney has asthma and, according to several NBA officials who have monitored his career since his days at Milwaukee Hamilton High School, it has adversely affected his play.

Scouts claim it isn’t unusual for Looney to frequently bend over and catch his breath while on the court and that he doesn’t have the endurance of most players.

They are also concerned that his asthmatic condition could be even more worrisome as a pro, considering the NBA regular season is 82 games compared to just the 36 he played last season as a freshman at UCLA.

While Looney’s asthma condition has raised red flags with some NBA teams, there are others who aren’t overly concerned. They noted several NBA players over the years have had asthma and still had productive careers with the proper medication.

Yeah I thought that was a part of the reason but I like the move for Vazquez he's a good backup pg and far more productive than AB.
