Especially when you take into account they're sticking with Rubio at the point (:scust: by the way), Towns at least gives them the versatility to keep that bum semi hidden on offense.

It would make no sense to pick Okafor over him for the team flip is building. Okafor just clogs the paint up for Wiggins & Bazz. Towns can space the floor...post up and actually defend.

They do have Kostas Koufous or O'quinn money. But they still have Henson/Plumlee/Pachulia so bringing in more bigs just increases the glut...a because they also have Illysova and Jabari whose playing the PF as well and arguably Ingles. s they May want to subtract 2/3 of these guys.

I have a feeling Koufos may get over payed and I like O'Quinn for 2-3 mil a year but anything above that, they may as well stick with what they have.
I was thinking more like, put a few of these guys together (maybe with Ennis and with Mayo oR Dudley) and see if they can get a center from a team that needs depth

Flip kept Pekovic in that lineup instead of Deing who provided better rim protection and spacing. Flip's an idiot. He'll pick Okafor cause he likes back to the basket bigs.

welcome to LA towns :blessed:

1. Dieng was in the lineup all the time.

2. Dieng offers very little in the way of rim protection.

:yeshrug: maybe it was all the injuries and lineup changes, but it always seemed to me that flip preferred Pekovic in the lineup above any other big.

hopefully flip is as dumb as you think he is and he takes Okafor 1st. leaving Towns to the Lakers. :troll:

A healthy Pek was their most effective big. Dieng regressed big time last season. At this point neither of them warrant being a starter.

By most accounts, everyone in that organization BUT Flip is down to draft Towns. Some of them would rather draft Russell over Okafor but Flip's a stubborn guy. Crazy thing is that everything he says he wants this offseason points in the direction of Towns. There's no way he can reason this out.

There is a "No Towns, No Tickets" movement bubbling online.

Yeah this is why i think the future's bright. Porter and beal are so young. Kids are 21 and already beasting.
I honestly as a prospect like beal as much as I liked harden. And porter as much as I liked paul george. Wall as much as westbrook. I'd have to look at the stats but I still think they're on pace. Beal showed this playoffs that he can distribute like harden. Porters got into playoff rotation same way george did. Being complementary to Granger
Actually now i want to look at porters stats. But yeah these dudes are super young

Kaminsky would be a good pick for them, but he's not making it past the Jazz, that shyt is basically etched in stone as far as I'm concerned :russ:

They won't take the chance on Upshaw either, not after how things with Sanders worked out. They may just need to hold off and wait till next year to try and get their center.

How far u think upshaw will fall in the draft?

I've heard some good things about his prospects, but he supposedly got mad baggage?
