It's gonna be tough until stan develops that jumper but he's too good of a prospect imo
Booker would honestly be the better fit but you cant skip stan. Watch him go to Pacers and become a star next to Paul george
Booker really ain't shyt though. At least not right now. With the ball in his hands he's less of a threat than an Atlanta team in the playoffs. Dude's got a beautiful J and the potential to be an elite athlete one day, but outside of that shot he can contribute absolutely nothing to a team right now.

Stanley has the same upside in that Kawhi-esque frame as well the ability to contribute right now.

I don't dislike Booker though. Earlier in the season, I was a huge fan of taking him in the draft. But now, there's no way that I can say that he's in any way a better prospect than PJ Hairston (we did him dirty this year with massively inconsistent minutes, role, and expectations)- and because of that, I just can't justify taking him in the top 10.

Booker got that "He looks like Klay Thompson" boost going right now, it's amazing how much push he's getting when he can't even dribble.

His handle is worse than Oubre's which is just shameful. And like... again, dude's shot is a beauty. It really is. But if everything goes right, he'll simply turn into Martell Webster or OJ Mayo. If he exceeds all expectations and becomes amazing, he'll be Eric Gordon. In all likelihood, because he has SO much to work on... man I don't know. He could turn into an Austin Daye or Dorrell Wright type project real easy. The type where teams just keep pouring resources into and drafting around.

I know my team :mjcry: We don't need that

With Stanley we can just plug him in right away and worst-worst case scenario we got another Stephen Graham type goon to spell MKG after he's done locking down 3 people by himself again. I think Stanley will be better for us than Henderson too anyways.

I like Hairston and Reggie bullock for that matter. They can put the ball in the hoop and both are good athletes with good size for the SG position, which technically should translate defensively at some point.
I gave you dap of the strength of the Atlanta joke

@tremonthustler1 who do you think is the Best Player out of Booker, Oubre, and Turner? :lupe:
I know I'm not Tre but I felt like amswering
Right now id take Turner because just his size. A He can at least stand at the rim and block shots but the more I watched him, the more I realized that he moves as if he has a torn ligament in his leg and will never be anything close to LaMarcus Aldridge or any other comparison thrown out there. I think he's a future bust unfortunately.
So long term id prob take Booker or Oubre. Give Booker the edge, i like Oubre but there is some questions about him mentally. Even though, I've never seen it but that's what people say, plus Booker is an underrated on ball defender and a better shooter. Though Oubre projects well in both those as well. Its close

Nah just a pothead

i read differently. i was trumpeting him in the celtics off-season thread for a pick at 28 but he might be off their board...id actually be surprised if we kept 2 of 16/28/33 but if hes there somehow at 28 or 33 im taking him. ainge isnt scared of drug addicts so i dont fully believe the source who is usually very reliable

I mean unless u have an insider source but everyone said that it was just weed. He's a bit of a headcase to begin with so it may have been more to the story but I heard people say multiple times that both the Fresno st and Washington drug tests were failed for weed

cover-up..he even got booted out of john lucas' camp i think

some say he may have been dealing at one point as well

Might be the best rim protector in the draft. A lottery talent. But the off-the-court issues are serious. More serious than teams initially thought. Everyone is pulling for him to get his life turned around, but I think there are some serious reservations from NBA teams about drafting him in the first round.

at the end of the day i think he goes first round between 20-28 but who knows. he could plummet. all it takes is one team to be enamored and not care for others on the draft board

I hope Booker is gone by the time we pick. Don't want Presti to get caught up in his shooting & use a lottery pick on him even if the pick is kind of a luxury pick :ld:

Honestly unless Oubre is there (or somehow Johnson fell for whatever reason) I think we should trade down a few spots. Justin Anderson should still be there a few picks down & he is probably the best fit for us after Oubre.

I think Justin Anderson could be the steal of the draft. Hard worker l, great defender, very good shooter..underwhelmed at combined shooting drills so maybe he goes 18-28 somewhere..plus ppl forget but that UVA squad was beast with him full strength and nothing without him really.

If I was a GM I'd second guess myself quite often but im completely sold on Anderson..so much so that I'd be happy to deal Avery Bradley for cap space and another pick, and scoop anderson off the bat

Darko could have been good with a different coach, he had legit talent, Larry Brown absolutely destroyed him though and made him become a center when he should have been a PF.

I think Stan is the perfect coach for Kristaps, he's going to let him be who he is and help him improve, I also think Stan would be good for Hezonja as well. Those guys when you really stop to think about it are Shard and Hedo.

:salute:Larry Brown escaped easily after that whole fiasco when he should have taken most of the blame

I'm paying close attention to Hollis-Jefferson, Anderson and Mickey....I think they will all be extremely productive NBA role players especially if they go to the right teams.

Just looking at the roster I need some type of answer to what's going to happen with PJIII and Lamb....is Donovan going to play these guys if not just move them for some vets or something because for the most part they aren't even back ups they are third stringers....

they still show flashes of potential.

@Poitier @manyfaces ....I know Darko left you scarred, but you gotta move on and accept this new PF into your lives. Open your heart and let him win it from long distance :wow:
He only makes sense. Then we can get Middleton back in free agency.

Our future depends on Dre anyway so, Kristaps not panning out would be moot.

All praises to our Instagram (Thot) lovin, occasionally socially awkward big man :blessed:
