I don't know if they even did the vertical measurement but some times player bend their knees a little and try to Bogart their height in order to get a higher vertical
i don't know what happened there. I watched some of the combine, Rakeem Christmas looked good in the games and so did Cook and Rozier.
who do you think helped, and who do you hear has helped themselves the most in this combine? Anyone hurt their stock?

yea, maybe for a lesser heralded player they might fudge around to make their standing reach lower for a higher measured vert, but I can't see the benefit for a guy trying to make himself shorter. Honestly, I think their nappy fros affect the ablity to measure them properly although a guy look oubre seemed to have similar numbers as more recent measurements. I really have a hard time mostly believing johnson's numbers. He has basically been measured at 6'7.5" and 240-250 lbs the last year and a half, virtually a PF's size. And winslow has routinely been right around 6'5-6'" barefoot and 6'6.5-7" in shoes. It's very weird.

The guys who helped themselves the most: in terms of the 5 on 5, i think quinn cook and rakeem christmas helped themselves the most. Other guys I'd put just behind them are jordan mickey, terry rozier, JP tokoto, and micheal frazier. A sleeper who also performed very well and could be someone's 3rd PG was tj mcconnell. He played great defense, ran his team, and had great assists with low turnover/mistake free bball. Guys who hurt themselves in 5 on 5: chris walker, tyler harvey. Other guys I wasn't so impressed by were chasson randle and oivier hanlan There's also as a number of guys who for whatever reason decided no to compete; people like rashad vaughn, dakari johnson, and others. hurt themselves I feel.

In terms of measurements/strength& agility, guys who really helped themselves were devin booker, jordan mickey, johnathan holmes, justin anderson, and pat connaughton.

I just can't see Stanley and Winslow playing NBA SG unless they end up on a teammate with a versatile SF who can also shoot and slash or is weaker on defense.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Unless they get into top 3..im hearing DET/SAC/CHA...At least one will trade out. I think for Det it comes down to their ultimate evaluation of Porzingis and also if they think he would drop to them (which is questionable right now). They all have pressure to win asap and have multiple needs. I guess Falk has a connection to Det and is also on good terms with Ainge so Det might settle for Sully at the 4 for a year and pick up Young and a pick in the process. Cha could be in play with Avery Bradley/Olynyk/Picks..or some sort of combination. Heard the Celts want to consolidate..free up a little cash for FA..get better prospects on rookie deals then bring back some of their free agents as well. Always seemed like the plan but am seeing and hearing substantive stuff now. Might even swing back Lance from CHA..Ainge sees Lance as buy low value target and has a reasonable contract ala Thomas. He had inquired about him in the past as well. Also heard Celts already have a deal in place but am unsure with who or if it comes to fruition (another team could swoop in or minds can change based on scouting updates etc).

RealGM got the Celtics trying to trade up for Trillie Cauley Stein.

Uncertain grounds

Maybe Im Danny Ainge Himself :smugbiden:

If Olynyk gets dealt :youngsabo:

Trading up is a tricky proposition right now. I feel like this draft class has a ridiculously high variance in opinion on more prospects than usual. Nothing is really worth talking about until the lotto balls bounce.

Havent seen any of the combine stuff. How has winslow looked? I still see the Knicks taking him if they don't get the top 1-2 pick
