i never said simmons or skal won't be good. or that another guy will not emerge and be the best player. i'm just going with HISTORY. talent does not enter the league in a consistent manner. its comes in waves. with some years being much better or worse than others.
for example, in 2012 we had Anthony davis. great #1 pick. however, after him, that draft was weak. no other stars. i'm not saying there won't be an anthony davis in 2016, i'm just saying you won't see a 2008 or 2009 type draft next year. 2008 had Rose, Westbrook, Love, and Deandre Jordan. 2009 had Blake, Harden, and Curry. plus lots of other good players providing depth.
you won't see that next year cause 2014 and 2015 are already looking to be soo good. its simple law of averages. you don't get 4 straight good drafts in a row. there will be a clunker in there.
I was here. didn't hear anyone saying Clarkson would be all-rookie 1st team BEFORE THE DRAFT. folks got high on him after summer league when we saw him ball.
i'll give you KJ McDaniels. but folks thought he was going late 1st round BEFORE THE DRAFT. it would be like me calling Justin anderson a 2nd round sleeper if he somehow fell to the 2nd round eventhough most mocks have him going late 1st and alot of people already like him.
I was talking about sleepers for this pick, you said "nobody named jordan clarkson" - I gave you a grip of "sleepers" lists he appeared on.
If you want to talk to adults, do it in a manner befitting the company. Otherwise, go play at the kids tables.
Jordan Clarkson had a hell of a season, it was quite a surprise, he would fit under the archetype of "Sleeper" -- he is the kind of player that I'm asking about in THIS draft. Who do you/others think will fit that description.

They get Vonleh on a rookie scale contract, it ain't his fault he got hurt & Clifford don't like rookies. They get out of Batum's contract, and should have more money in FA. Even if LMA stays or gone, they can be a factor in FA.What a waste of a pick with Vonleh, made no sense at the time, and less sense now
