Even without it he'll be a great player, but in the 2015 NBA, he's a difficult player to build around. LA's gonna pick him (and they probably should) but Randle's days are numbered and it will have nothing to do with what he does and it won't matter how good he becomes. That's the price you pay with BPA, let alone one with Jah's deficiencies.

I see where you are coming from but I just don't see how having a Center and a PF like Okafor/Randle is a detriment especially if they both develop granted the spacing between them will suck but if they add shooters from 1-3 who can space the floor i'd think they would be alright...

But why is it so many are so high on Randles potential coming off of a season ending injury? He does have potential but I'm not seeing this superstar player he's the making of.

Uncertain grounds
yeah. Nothing a white American wants more than a Croatian superstar.

It's what the game's been missing, really.

RIP petrovic :mjcry:

couple sidenotes on petrovic just for the hell of it:

  • read recently that his mom baby sat for Steph Curry when Dell was in the 3pt contest :wow:
  • also that i did some research on the anniversary of his death and found his stats to be remarkably similar to Klay's

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
why has Stanley Johnson's stock fallen since the end of the season?

It turned out he's not as tall/long as people thought, basically people were expecting him to be around 6'7-6'8" in shoes, he's 6'6.5" in shoes with a 6'11" wingspan, making him basically SG sized and he had trouble finishing at the rim in college.

it's not the spacing. It's the lack of rim protection both offer.

Now, if Randle isn't viewed as a core piece, then again, best you take Okafor and move Randle when it's best for them to do so, but it's not ideal to wanna move core guys at the start of a rebuild. Philly is an extreme example of just moving talent because they're not "the one"

because he can't finish at the basket at all given his size and ability.

Can't finish around the rim

so if your'e the Heat and Johnson, Booker, and Turner are there at 10, who do you take?

draymond green and andrew bogut just anchored the #1 defense in basketball. I'm sure randle and okafor can be at least decent on defense while being incredible on offense. randle has potential to be a great pick n roll and perimeter defense as a big. while okafor has more than enough potential to be AT LEAST average as a rim protector in the paint given his 7'5" wingspan.
