How you feeling so far this earlier in the Harbs era?

You have to be pretty hyped after the years of BS you guys have gone through. Skimming Wolves boards optimism seems high. I think realistically Harbs is a year or 2 away from getting things really going. You think you guys make a few waves this year?

I'm not Gizz... but people need to realize that we've got talent on the team. We've got 4 and 5 stars littered all through our roster. Hoke's problem was never reeling in the talent. It was developing it.

I think we win 9-10 games this year. We've got the Buckeyes and the Spartans at home so that'll help. I think we can win one of those games, if not both. And before you laugh, we've played Ohio State relatively close during the Hoke years. With ZERO toughness and zero discipline. No Oline. No playmakers. No quarterback.

The Buckeyes out'talented us these last few years. The Spartans have out toughened us. I believe both of those things change now. Harbaugh was beginning to bring in really good players to Stanford WITH the academic limitations. (As far as who he could recruit) And while Michigan is a damn great school also, there's no public school that's seeing a Stanford degree. So, I'd be willing to bet that before he took the Michigan job, he had a long long meeting with the admissions department.

You give Harbaugh athletes at every position (like he's recruiting now) and Michigan can very well become an Alabama/USC of the North. (As far as play style. Pro set, I-Formation ect.) I think he'll surprise a lot of people this year. Like I said I can see 9-10 wins, and only getting better from there on out.

:ehh:

Nice post. I am getting a little giddy about betting on the Wolves this year. Just not trying to by into the year one hype.

Just one correction..

The Spartans have out toughened us.

Nah well maybe, but really just out coached. I think Harbs solves that in year one.

Props on the break down. Probably should of just posted a the Q, in your guys thread.

im just not sold at all on michigan getting to 10 wins. i think 8-4 is the realistic record. anything above that ill surprised. the over the top optimism reminds me of 2013, when people were thinking they would win like 11 games.

http://www.thecoli.com/threads/the-...read-you-will-hail.78260/page-23#post-5763480

they were 5-0 when i posted that. the problem with the over the top expectations are when they win 8 or 9 games, it will be seen as a failed season by a large portion of the fanbase.
