Lol, Les on SVP and Russillo last show saying tOSU used the SEC blueprint to win the NC.

SEC now claiming Big 10 Champs...

(It was tongue in cheek)

hey ain't lyin. Urban Meyer knows the best athletes are in the south and he's been down here recruiting.

Joey Bosa - Florida
Ezekiel Elliot - Missouri
JT Barrett - Texas
Von Bell - Georgia
Raekwon McMillian - Georgia

lets just put it this way. you don't see many cats from ohio on alabama's roster. but you see a ton of cats from the south on osu.

Tennessee ain't no different. What talent coming out of that state? Wasn't Cali a pipeline for y'all during the Fulmer years?

BTW, who's coming with me???

tennessee as a state is like a big ass rectangle. the good thing is we border so many states, and knoxville is really close to alot of other states. georgia, north carolina, alabama, kentucky, and virginia are all just 2-3 hours away. back in the fulmer years, we got alot of our talent from georgia and north carolina.

plus tennessee has become better at producing talent. population has grown. right now, 24/7 sports has 7 prospects from Tennessee rated in the top 100 for 2017. and we're favorites for all of em. :smugfavre:

now explain why all the best players on osu last year came from the south?

Joey Bosa - Florida
Ezekiel Elliot - Missouri
JT Barrett - Texas
Von Bell - Georgia
Raekwon McMillian - Georgia
and so on.....

osu would never be able to compete against the alabama's or lsu's of the world playing with just ohio kids. you need to come south to recruit speed.
Cardale Jones
Devin Smith- leading td catches
Joshua Perry- leading tackler
Jalin Marshall- all purpose yrds
Taylor Decker- o-lineman shyt our whole o line from Ohio, best in the country
Nick Vannett- leading TE in yrds n Tds
Darron Lee- best LB
Doran Grant- best corner
Micheal Bennett- all big ten dominated all year
Adolphus Washington
All from Ohio

That nikka named Chef and he sat behind a ohio kid

First, Missouri is not the south. It's the midwest, so you can't count Zeke. Go find a map. Mizzou is only in the SEC because the money was better than the Big 12. Mizzou fits better in the Big 10 more than an outlier in the SEC, but things fell as they did.

Second, who was the QB when OSU beat Wisky, Alabama, and Oregon? A QB from Cleveland. Who do you think makes up the entire offensive line for OSU?

Third, I love how you conveniently left out players like Jalin Marshall, Devin Smith, Doran Grant, Darron Lee, etc.

Raekwon is the man, and will be an all american when he's finished, but last year he split time at MLB with Curtis Grant (and never started). Hardly what I would single out as one of our best players last year.

The only players you can single out as talent from the south are JT, Vonn, and Bosa. Out of 85 scholarship players on the roster. Don't see what point you thought you had.

interesting. almost all the cats you cited from ohio were 3 star recruits. :patrice:

the 4 and 5 stars that make them chumps look good come from the south. don't be mad. urban finally broght you guys some speed so you can hang with the SEC in bowl games.

ever heard of the missouri compromise? mizzou entered the union as a slave state. the south = the slave states.

The reason you don't see top ohio recruits is because we put up a fence and keep our talent home hence our roster being made mostly of ohio talent. Ohio is one of the top states for prospects.
