Dude is electric.

Oregon fans should patient with him. Cant expect him to be Mariota. While I think there were better college QBs than Mariota recently. I dont know of anyone who ran "their system" to perfection like him. Dude was a point guard on the field.

Him joining the team so late means he's going to have sketchy play early on....but if yall survive....

First, re the bolded. I don't like your tone. :leostare:

All jokes aside. Ya, I agree Duck fans need to be patient with Vernon. I really think the Ducks need to lean on Royce Freeman early, and who ever grabs that second RB position(After Tyner getting hurt). Like you said Marcus really mastered the system. Which means the Ducks O has gone towards a more passing game. The Ducks have to go back to running the ball early this year. And just frankly. a more emphasis on running the ball this year.

Problem? :birdman:

I meant in terms of recent history. The last 5 years or so.

UK & Duke are proven winners, some of the SEC teams aren't proven winners... im not whining, just hate who people be like "oh so n so team only play 2 ranked teams and [insert SEC team] plays 4 or 6 ranked teams this year..."
the whole conference gets hype off like 4 teams

but they are proven recruiting powerhouses. Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Auburn are perennial top 10 recruiters. Tennessee and Texas A&M have turned into top 10 recruiters the last couple of years. Even Ole Miss has turned into a high ranked recruiting school. The only SEC schools that are not recruiting powerhouses are Arkansas, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Miss. St. And those schools are NEVER ranked unless they've proven it on the field (see Missouri).

And it isn't just SEC schools that get this benefit of the doubt based on recruiting rankings. Florida State and USC are both ranked in the top 10 this year based on recruiting than on field accomplishments. Florida State lost alot of key players from the team that made the playoff last year and USC hasn't done anything in 10 years. Yet no one is complaining about their poll position.

THIS ISN'T AN SEC BIAS. ITS A RECRUITING BIAS.

And recruiting stars are skewed depending on where they get offers from...do the math on that

JT was named one of the captains, think he gonna get that qb spot over Cardale. :lupe:

good. he's the player will less upside. if my team made the playoff, i'd be alot more scared to face cardale.

BTW we all know Urban Meyer doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to picking a starting QB. this is the same guy that had Cam Newton holding a clip board while Tim Tebow played.

can't wait to see which school Cardale transfers to in 2016. hopefully its SEC. :smugfavre:
