But Jimbo said he almost beat Jameis for the job :patrice::martin:

:russ:

I hate to go by a small sample size with a qb because I did that with Kessler from USC and never thought he'd be good but the little i saw of Coker last year he was inherently inaccurate and made awful reads

I guess some people are enamored by his arm strength

Cardale was done when Brown got hurt...

He needs a deep threat on the field..
Brown wasn't a deep threat. He is a big body possesion reciever who can block and would be good in the red zone. Deep threats this year will be Corey Smith when he come back, Jalin Marshall, and a couple of the young recievers

This dude supposedly can run (well) unlike Thomas :manny:

Ya, but Vernon is a bit more reckless with the ball, dude is Favre ish. Dude also has a more accurate long ball then Mariota. He will turn the Ball over. We are going to find out early how good Vernon is week 2 Vs. MSU.

Highlights..

@Dr. Narcisse Whats up with Golson at FSU?

QBs are struggling....but so are the wrs. Its tough to determine who is better right now. Just too much inexperience at the wr position (drops, poor routes, etc)

I always say gamble on potential when their is no clear leader. At least Golson is mobile enough to buy time for guys to get open.

Yeah they said it on BTN too. He's not though, he doesn't have that speed. He showed great hands during camp and has always been a great blocker. He had the best camp out of all the recievers and was gonna start opposite Mike Thomas. Won't be surprised if by the middle of the year Torrance Gibson turns into that deep threat. 6'4 and can fly

Dude is electric.

Oregon fans should patient with him. Cant expect him to be Mariota. While I think there were a "few" better college QBs than Mariota recently. I dont know of anyone who ran "their system" to perfection like him. Dude was a point guard on the field.

Him joining the team so late means he's going to have sketchy play early on....but if yall survive....

Imagine Terrelle Pryor at QB or WR in Urban Meyer's system :wow::wow::wow:
