Imma do a schedule break down real quick, might do some scores later on

Louisville - W
Jacksonville State - W
@LSU - Very interesting game, but with Jennings possibly at QB, I gotta give it to Auburn
Miss St - Auburn comes out mad, wins big
San Jose St - W
Bye Week - W
@Kentucky - another potential trap game, but at the end of the day, they Kentucky, we Auburn
@Ark - that defense is gonna be a lot less good tbh, and their offense once again matches up very horribly against our defense. Except this time they ain't got their good TE Henry W
Ole Miss - defense loses some big players, offense might be more balanced, but I don't believe they have a QB. You need a QB to beat auburn this year man. W
@TAMU the only game I want to consider as a L, and I can't lie, might scare me a bit. I'm saying W because this another game that our players gonna come in wanting to get revenge, but it depends on a lot. Toss up
UGA - they the last game at the end of a very very tough stretch of games. Chubb might be the best back of all time, but our starting front 7 vs their OL...I like our front 7. If UGA gets a competent QB I'll say toss up, but until then W
Idaho - W
Alabama - fukk em W
SEC CG (Tennessee) - Dameyune Craig will deliver the greatest pre game speech of all time and ask the players to finish what he couldn't. They will. W

So all in all, I could see a possible 13-0 but there's like 3 toss ups.

I'm gonna break it down as unbiasedly as possible

QB: The spot is just overall better, we all have the general feeling Jeremy is better than Nick, and some of us felt he was better last year. Sean White is an accurate white QB with some mobility, and Tyler Queen is a capable third string. We have a former JuCo QB that now plays receiver if it gets that bad.

RB/HB/TE: We lose Grant and CAP, but Jovon and Roc T. are HUGE improvements over those two. Jovon is a bruiser type with very good speed and Roc has put some weight on to go along with his home run speed this offseason. We lose Uzomah (a great TE) and Fulse, but they sucked dikk at blocking, and we barely even used them (because that would've required Nick to read them being open). We got the former #1 FB in the nation blocking at FB now and a good hybrid TE/FB in Kamryn Pettaway

WR: We lose Sammie, Quan Bray, and I believe that's it here. We got deeper at this position, and I think the coaches are really comfortable with this spot going forward. I'll spare you another paragraph, but the guys we lost here have very capable looking replacements.

OL: I believe all we lost here was our center Dismukes, and we return our former starting RG Alex Kozan who was an all American in 2013 then got hurt before 2014 started. With him out, and no real FB, the running game RARELY clicked. We have a transfer Center from OM's godly 2013 class that is supposed to be the truth from practice reports.

TL;DR, a lot of our expectations ride on potential, but it's potential that looks very good and Malzahn does very well with very good potential :takedat:. P.S none of the guys we lost had as big an impact as the guys (the closest SEC projected winners) Alabama lost this offseason.
:mjlol: sounds like you refuse to acknowledge you could have taken any steps back

yall lost 2 top flight WRs for a start

We lost one elite WR who had 4 good games last season at most, was hurt damn near the whole season and didn't even play the bowl game :francis: let's not mention that he would've had the worst hands of any top receiver if Breshad Perriman wasn't there. We got Melvin Ray (EXTREMELY better hands, along with better blocking), Tony Stevens, who has a very similar build and speed, as well as Myron Burton Jr who showed out in the spring game.

We also had Quan Bray, who's skillset is replaceable in about 3 other receivers we got. Literally, fast, slot receiver, here you go: Stanton Truitt, Jason Smith, Marcus Davis, BOOM

So to start it off, you're wrong. You can't really tell me some shyt about Auburn friend :jbhmm:

There's sort of reasons that even after going 8-5, we're projected top 4

That couldn't be because we took steps back, I'd imagine :yeshrug:
None those other 3 teams took steps back :yeshrug:
