I'm sure playing for the defending national champions and the #1 team in the country has no impact on recuits coming here:duck:

The fact that you were pulling in the elite recruits BEFORE even winning it all, and AFTER getting caught cheating as usual is what raises them red flags.

But I'm sure it's Columbus' architectural masterpieces and elite education system that reels in all of these 5 star kids.

The fact that you are acting like it is questionable for a national power to reel in top recruits as if we're Ole Miss circa 2013 is absolutely hilarious and reeks on inferiority.

@Swagnificent get 0 passes from me. nikka post Joey Bosa was one of the best players on the field in the sugar bowl, in the backfield every play, then in another post says Joey Bosa wouldn't even crack Bama D line rotation :camby:. Woat 3x recipient

if you must know, i made the comment about him being in the backfield every play before i rewatched the sugar bowl. Bosa was ghost that game. I musta confused it with the national championship game against oregon when he dominated that soft oregon o-line. its one of those things where the last thing you see is what dominates your perception. sorta like why everyone thinks ohio state will run away with the natty this year.

espn's doing a marathon of the biggest college games from last year. they showing the sugar bowl. watch it again. that crakkka was GHOST against alabama. Regularly getting blown by when derrick henry was running the rock or blake sims was scrambling. that overrated piece of white trash wouldn't crack bama's rotation. his hype is the result of dominating a weak conference. and me being fooled by the oregon game.

fyi for the ohio state stans, the only reason ya'll beat Bama is cause they didn't play their best players. I was just watching the sugar bowl again and the only guy making plays for Bama was Derrick Henry. no surprise he's from the 2013 recruiting class. the same 2013 class that made up the majority of ohio state's starting lineup.

the 2013 recruiting cycle produced alot better players than 2012 and 2011. The kids from that class really didn't hit their stride till the end of the 2014 season as true sophomores. Its one of main reasons ohio state won. I expect Alabama to be alot better next season because they'll actually have guys from their #1 ranked 2013 class playing big roles rather than sitting behind the less talented upperclassmen.

expect to hear alot from Robert Foster (WR), Ardarius Stewart (WR), and Rueben Foster (ILB) next year. they weree 2013 commits that deserved more playing time. also expect to see alot of Alabama's 2014 recruits to blow up next season. and get much better toward the end of the season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Alabama loses a game early next year. Maybe to Georgia. But then run the table and win the natty.

What BEST players didn't play, i swore i saw Cooper,Collins, Henry,Yeldon played but was hurt, the D line was in tact, as was they O line. Come on man we just was faster and more physical. Collins got that shoulder dinged on a block from Evans, Ragland got knocked senseless and couldn't return. Big boy football

Edit: im sure Saban know who his best players are more than you, and what was Bama 11 and 12 classes ranked?

urban doesn't even know who his best players are. if braxton never gets hurt, JT never plays. if JT never gets hurt, Cardale never plays. although we can disagree on whose better between JT and Cardale, I think we can all agree JT or Cardale are much better choices at QB than Braxton.

just think of it this way. how much better did your team get by the end of the season compared to the start? I just rewatched the sugar bowl. The commentators said your o-line had 4 new starters last year. They struggled at the start particularly against va-tech. Then by the end of the season they were destroying everyone in front of them. I know that what i'm saying might sound crazy, but alabama had better players on their bench (kids from the 2013 and 2014 recruiting cycles) whose names we don't know right now. they'll be playing next year. and its why i think they'll be alot better than the team that ya'll beat last year. the 2010-12 recruiting cycles were WEAK. its what made Johnny Manziel look artifically great. He played during a weak era. The 2013 and 2014 kids are alot better. Ohio state's surge at the end of the season proved it.

just remember this theory of mine next year when alabama has alot better players than those who played last season.

if ya'll are confused by what i'm saying, i think college basketball illustrates this point better. however, because its mostly 1 and done, we never really get to experience the vast difference in talent between classes.

look up the rivals rankings of top players from 2010-12 in college basketball. Very few stars. Lotta mediocre talents. Then compare the 2013 and 2014 classes. Alot better talent at the top. Guys who will dominate the pros. Talent comes in waves. Some years are better than others. what i'm saying is ohio state prospered last year because they played those young talented guys early. took their lumps against va-tech. then by the end of the season when their studs from the 2013 class hit their stride, could nobody on alabama's 2010-12 laden team beat em.

next year should be different though. i expect alabama, lsu, and ohio state to all be about the same in talent level. the eventual champion will come from one of them.
