Alabama isn't a hotbed for HS talent like other states(Texas,LA,FLA,CA)

Weird reasons.

Being in a tough division means you get into the playoffs with 1 loss and generally get the benefit of the doubt over teams from other conferences with similar records. That's a good thing.

Location means nothing when you carry a brand name like Alabama. It's never been a deterrent in their recruiting efforts.
