He probably took a phone call and spoke to them but it's absolutely :duck: that he was a "done deal" or "official"

FSU is a better job than LSU

Your bias is showing.

And no fsu is not a better job. In Florida you gotta contend with UF for recruits. In LSU you get the pick of the litter in Louisiana. Also being in the SEC is better than the ACC. If you win the SEC title you're pretty guaranteed a spot in the playoff. While a 1 loss ACC champ is last in the conference pecking order.

Bias towards who genius?

How is playing in a tougher conference, facing Saban yearly an advantage?

Money is even, and Tallahassee > BR

Easier to recruit at LSU. And its not like Saban will be at Bama forever. Finebaum said a few weeks ago he wouldn't be surprised if Saban went to the NFL if they won another chip.

Florida is harder to recruit but there's a lot of talent in Florida. You ain't gonna get everyone but it's very possible to have Miami, Florida, and Florida State all with a top 5 class (Back in 2012, I believe there was a time where all three floated around that area)

Louisiana is easier to recruit but LSU gotta beat Alabama (!!!!!!!!!), Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas (!!!!!!!), and Miss St on a yearly fukking basis. That's hard as shyt man. Even when all those teams is down like this year, it's still very easy to slip up along that road.

I'd take FSU 7 times out of 10 in terms of if I'm trying to get a job. If I'm doing good as shyt at LSU, and FSU calls, I'd stay because at that point it'd be a lateral move. Almost any elite (still elite) program outside of Alabama (until God shines a beacon of light on the fukkery that happens on the Board of Trustees) is interchangeable in terms of job ranking.

Why are the playoff semifinals on New Year's Eve again?

It's set in stone, and I understand if they want to keep the Rose Bowl as a New Years tradition, but why are these playoff games not played on January 2nd, a damn Saturday, a day of the week where college football games are usually played, when people are not at work or planning to get slizzered at a NYE party. What the fukk.
