Exactly, Henry actually broke the single season rushing record of one of the greatest RBs in CFB history (and shattered the Alabama rushing record by nearly 300 yards), tied the rushing TD record with Tebow (who won the Heisman Trophy) and Tre Mason, has scored a TD in 18 straight games as well. Also, he's carried the offense on his back and has hidden some of Coker's and the O-Line's weaknesses. Kinda like how Demarco Murray complemented Romo last year. Hell if Henry don't win it, they need to just send the trophy in a UPS truck to either Cook or Elliott, both more deserving than McCaffrey imo

yeah, Tiller came from the WAC. WAC used to have all the innovative offenses in the late 80s to right before the conferences first shifted in the mid 90s.

BYU, Wyoming (tiller), Fresno State, Utah, etc were all running fun and spread offenses.

Those Purdue teams used to put the beats on people back when Tiller first arrived. That conference was not ready for it at all.

I still tell people to this day regardless of amount of NC's when Penn St joined the big ten in 93 the big 10 yearly was the deepest most competitive conference. Any given year you would get a team or 2 that came out of nowhere and would contend for big ten title. Prime OSU PSU Michigan were yearly favs but Wisconsin with Alvarez Iowa with Fry Barnett at Northwestern Illinois would sneak up you had a nikka like Saban at MSU that always had teams that could beat you Minnesota under Glen Mason were problems and Tiller and Brees at Purdue conference was deep as fukk only Indiana was weak but even then Randle El might have been the most entertaining player that played in the conference

definitely. I really liked the Big10 in this era.

OSU fans wont like this, but that conference fell off when Tressell came in and dominated.

Don't know if I've mentioned but this Stephen Barnett channel on YouTube is a bible of CFB games from the past he has so many FSU games uploaded I'm gonna take a slow day and go back and watch some of these asskickings they used to give the ACC back in the 90s. I see he has a bunch of FSU vs Duke and Maryland uploads up them games were comedy back then.

I can't put my finger on out, but college football seemed better back then. Even the intro theme was better. IDK its still dope but things are just different. Didn't seem as corporate back in the day. ESPN wasn't as influential as they are now. Maybe I'm just being nostalgic.

Nope all facts agree 100% wasn't any politics as obvious as it is now. Wasn't any daily shows where can force narratives about conferences and shyt things changed around 04-05 and now it's just stupid.

Yeah, I like the New theme but something about that old theme was it just screamed College Football



I hate how ESPN has ALL the Bowls now, the Cotton Bowl used to be on CBS and Fox and the Orange Bowl was on NBC etc..and shyt the National Title game was on Fox for three years, ESPN so damn greedy.
