12 is too much. They already have the argument in place against going to 8 saying that attendance will be too low in the first rounds.just imagine the matchups if CFB sacked up and gave us a 12 team playoff with the final 12 CFP ranking
1. Clemson
2. Bama
3. Sparty
4. OU
5. Iowa
6. Stanford
7. OSU
8. ND
9. FSU
10. UNC
11. TCU
12. Ole Miss
top 4 teams get bye weeks, and the higher seed has homefield advantage until the title game
12. Ole Miss (21) at 5. Iowa (24)
11. TCU (31) at 6. Stanford (28)
10. UNC (27) at 7. OSU (38)
9. FSU (31) at 8. ND (27)
11. TCU (27) at 1. Clemson (28)
9. FSU (21) at 2. Bama (27)
7. OSU (31) at 3. Sparty (17)
5. Iowa (21) at 4. OU (34)
7. OSU (35) at 1. Clemson (31)
4. OU (28) at 2. Alabama (30)
7. OSU (31) at 2. Alabama (35)

I'm just giving you the company line. This has been the response from the committee on the topic of moving to 8.how would attendance be low if these are home games? you don't think the shoe is going to fill up, or norman stadium, or alabama stadium?
putting them in neutral sites will kill ticket sales

Should keep it at 4 i think. Just need to get all the conferences on board with playing the same amount of conf games and no fcs teams
And they would be playing until February12 is too much. They already have the argument in place against going to 8 saying that attendance will be too low in the first rounds.
Bump it to 8 5 power 5 champs and 3 at-large teams including the group of 5/ND types if qualified for consideration.
FCS games will always exist the FCS schools need the money and the major schools want those 7/8 home games not passing up all that extra revenue.
Perfect scenario. I know why they didn't start off with this scenario but i don't know why they can't move to this withing the next 4 years
