Did you watch him? All he has to fix is his high dribbling but he has been more than a willing passer when giving the opportunity. How many bigs can initiate the offense and find the open man from the top of the circle? Or go full court with the ball and go for the lay up. Randle's potential is amazing. And are you actually complaining about body language? :camby:
He's turnover prone, and has no post moves. He's sloppy, and tries to do too much. He's a classic case of a guy with the wrong mentality.

I doubt he'll ever be better than Jordan Hill

You have no idea what you are talking about bruh. I don't think there has been a single analyst that saw these summer league games that hasn't been impressed with what they saw from Randle the past few days.

Analysts love what they saw out of Jabari too, but he has bust written all over him.

It's a fresh draft, so there's always hope and optimism. Analysts don't think in terms of projected failures just yet. People thought Beasley and Derrick Williams would pan out too.

The point of summer league is potential. Critiquing a big man that he thinks he is Magic is stupid as hell. He had three turnovers, three assists today. How much turnovers does the typical big man average in the nba? It seems to be stupid to me to not want a guy like Randle who is clearly skilled handling the ball to limit himself for no reason. It's ridiculous in fact.

I know brehs are tired of me saying this but I really do not like how the 76ers are bringing along Nerlins Noel...You just can't be sitting him out of games just because otherwise you shouldn't of even had him on the SL roster...Let him get burn in a set amount of minutes each game concentrating on different aspects...don't just send him out every other game I know it's SL but damn at least try.

I think they should have at least sent him to the D-League late last year or someshyt when he was ready to go. He needs to work up his stamina (or they keep saying). Sixers are being way too passive.

I think if the sixers wanted to, they could have gone so many different ways in the draft and still had been alright :yeshrug:

Could have gone with Exum, drafted McBuckets or done the Denver deal themselves. They probably could have signed Lance with the infinite cap space and fielded a really sloppy but respectable team.

Really counting on Embiid to be a superstar here.

You guys gotta chill. They're bringing him along slow for two reasons:

1) Leg and back injuries ruin careers, and he's skinny begin with.

2) They've got nothing but time, because they're plan is to get another top 3 pick next year.

Y'all are missing the forest for the trees, saying he shoulda played in the D league last year, and they coulda had McDermott... the idea is to REMAIN TERRIBLE and see how that talent looks next year, when Embiid is healthy and they have another top pick. And not a minute before then.

I see what they are doing but if he's that injury prone that he can't even play every summer league game wouldn't that make him even more so during the season?

That's not what it's about.

You see what they do with young pitchers, right? Put them on pitch limits? It's not because if they throw 77 instead of 75 their arm will explode. It's a way to try to control impact, and ease them into the grind of a full season/career.

So when will it all stop. In year 4 of the rebuild?

It'll probably end when they can field a competent well rounded roster that can compete at least for the playoffs. That's 2-3 years from now, until then what's the point of making him play all 82 games?

And I agree with that direction that Hinkie is going, but they could have gone another direction as well that might have been fruitful in the long run seeing Exum in action. It's a little boring since we will have to repeat the process with Embiid next year and hope Saric pans out. :yeshrug:
