at no point should JT floyd or Jordon Kovacs be starters at Michigan.Bless their hearts but we needed a talent upgrade in the secondary.Thankfully Hoke is addressing this issue with recruiting

make no mistake the defensive line has a rotation of 1s and 2s that are good enough to play and make an impact. This is what a team needs to reach elite defensive status: an elite DL. Just look at what notre dame accomplished. Strangling far more accomplished offenses like Oklahoma and USC with brute force physicality. This season I expect us allow the fewest yards and points in the hoke era.

For people discussin what they saw in the scrimmage, they are rotating the 2's in for heavy work so you can't go off what you saw.

Also shut your mouths about the GOAT white safety Kovacs you ungrateful nikkas :birdman:

Shaun Crawford set to drop today!

Clark is #2 FS. Playing really well and a coach favorite.

Poggi is going to redshirt. Was working out on the stadium stairs while team scrimmaged.

Shane Morris looked bad to start but was perfect leading the 2 minute drill, making every throw.

The coaches were a little disappointed with Green and the weight he came in at. Look for him to cut 10+ lbs.

Shallman in full knee brace and on crutches.

Gant hurt too, undisclosed, but a player who has filled out nicely in his short time here. Will be a player in the future.

The defense played with their hair on fire and the offense couldn't complete a pass for a while. DLine looks poised for a big year and not much drop off from 1-2's. Mattison has to be loving the matchups he'll be able to create.

Fitz, Lewan and Countess all sat out. Not injury related. Important players for us this year.

Deveon Smith is the forgotten man and coaches are pleased with the work he's put in thus far.

More to come as I remember....
Scrimmage Notes
Really excited about the D-line and secondary

Shaun Crawford, Athlete, Lakewood St. Edward: As much as it pains me to rank a Michigan lean in my top 10, Crawford is too good to ignore. He has all the tools. He is the best cover corner in Ohio regardless of class but I have a hard time placing a player with this much game-breaking ability on defense. Crawford is just as impressive on offense. Crawford has the hips and feet to be an elite cover corner but he is such a fine tackler he could be a safety. His speed is something special.

Someone is going to get a great player whether he plays offense or defense. Right now it looks like Michigan. An offer might help the situation. He was supposed to be a huge Michigan lean and has an offer. What is he waiting on? Maybe we have it wrong. Maybe we are looking at an Ohio kid being brought up to speed on life after football for someone who intends to return to Ohio. We will see. Love to see this one in Scarlet and Gray.

This defense :ohlawd:

Those crumbs are tasting oh so good :eat: right now. Ranked the 3rd best player in the state.

Greatest QB of this generation gave team 134 a passionate speech brehs almost made me shed a tear

Very rare to see the god get that passionate in-front of cameras for a speech. We all know Brady is batshyt crazy on the field, and very Beli like to the press. Great to see him let his guard down and bring it for his alma mater. Man, I wish we could get the full speech..

Really cool to see..

Crazy Hoke has had Woodson and Brady back in the mix.. :whew:

Still not a fan of Hoke not wearing a head set tho lol..

Very cool Blue fans, very cool..

Tyree Kinnel just committed to the class of 2015. 4 star CB out of Ohio. Don't know much else about the kid
