We're in really good shape going forward. Our oldest player is Varejao, we have cap space, we have Kyrie. Maybe they'd consider throwing the max at Eric Gordon and see what happens. Other than him if they wasted cap space on the wrong FA it'd be a huge mistake.

I expect them to make 3 picks, stash or trade the 4th and re-sign Gee to a reasonable contract. Without Davis we probably won't make the playoffs but I'm fine with that.

I'll say this....it's harder to gain athleticism and explosiveness than it is to develop skill. If a player already has natural physical talent and learns the technical aspects after a few years in the league he'll be better off than a less athletic finesse player. There's advantages to both though so you aren't wrong.

yea because to me I would be worried though about a player that mostly relies on just athleticism and talent because by the time you are around 30 it starts to diminish due to injures and the wear and tear, while for the most part if you are already skilled you can always rely on that no matter what.

you are not hte only one who thinks that. Barnes needs a good point guard (not a Westbrook/Rose type, but an actual point guard) to prosper in the nBA.


I like Zeller a lot too.

Looking at McGee and Jordan overachieve I wouldn't argue at picking Drummond for the Hornets. Beal would be a good pick to since Gordan is about to leave and the Hornets could really use a scorer. Robinson would be solid in New Orleans but idk if he's good enough to change the w-l column.

Beal looks ok nothing special, undersized with a nice body and suspect handle for a 2 to be taken that high. I question his ability to finish well in the league. I dont see much separation between Beal, Barnes, Ross and Lamb but i give the edge to Lamb.

Wroten would shoot one or two jumpers a game and if it didnt go in he would penetrate or post up the rest of the game because he could. Didnt play point last year and his defense is probably the worst part of his game despite his freakishly quick hands.
