What u talking about? Dude can walk around Manhattan and nobody would recognize him.
He was hot around the 1996 olympics and disappeared. It doesn't help that track ain't a top 10 sport here obviously.
Like most track stars, they're more famous in Europe than here. That's an undisputable fact.

Michael Johnson is recognized wherever he goes in America. He wont get mobbed (most athletes dont unless they are a currently playing superstar) but Michael Johnson would get recognized.
