We just won 3 gold medals in the space of about an hour at our home olympics infront of the greatest crowd, and in the greatest atmosphere the olympics has ever seen.

You and your shyte heroes can do one :heh:

Lol you are in england of course the home crowd is going to be cooking for your athletes, thats not something to be proud of, it would happen in every nation.
Have you watched other sports, even in england the next biggest contingent crowd support is USA by FAR and we are always rooting for our gold medal athletes whether swimming, volleyball, gymnastics etc

We have so many gold medal winners we don't know what to do with them all. :win:, They are all our national heroes.:to: No one cares about how you think about our athletes as you sure don't care how we think about yours.

No.

American olympics never had crowds like this. Sorry.

Swimming is a great olympic sport, but the amount of medals/events is an absolute farce, and it takes away just about all of it's credibility. There's 1 man with 18 gold medals. Yes, he's incredible, but no chance is he the greatest olympian ever.

Americans wouldn't know much about cycling. If "driving gigantic station-wagon to McDonalds even though it's only 200 yards away" ever becomes an Olympic event though, watch out :whoo:

lol win some stupid cycling and you brits get cocky as fukk, probably why every nation you guys owned kicked you out :ld::russ:.

If they let Bolt run 25m, 50m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 250m, 300m i'm sure he'd have 20 golds by now :stopitslime:

But he's not just doing distance. He's doing different strokes as well, all of which require different skills and muscles to succeed. If Bolt wants more medals he can do hurdles, 400 meter races, etc. Carl Lewis managed to win the 100, 200, and long jump.

They don't run those disciplines though do they, you can't knock Phelps for going at whatever he can get his hands on.

More races = more work, hell of a lot more work.
