It's not that at all, since a lot of shyt have happened in his life since 04 and 2012. If he would've been in a coma for 8 years it would've been crazy.
Or maybe it's as crazy as the same dude who made Gorgeous made the workout plan. Seeing that Kanye is the most creative in the game, I never expected his music to ever sound the same. And since he's a fukking rockstar I never expected his life to stay the same therefore his life not staying the same.

Nas for example, his brand of music hasnt changed as radically from 94-2012 and thats almost 20 years.....
Like i said theres nothing wrong with the evolution...with west its just dramatic. I personally perfer the original style of music. I'll still play stronger or otis though.

MBDTF got more props than CD from unbiased sources, so he's obviously doing something right. He might lose some fans along the road, but he gained a lot as well cause he's not making the same music just like Nas.
Nas has changed a lot, dude was street poet on Illmatic and a mafioso boss on the album after that. A lot of cats fronted on IWW just for that reason. Then with Untitled he was a political rapper. At some point he was talking about big ballin, ignorant shyt and on.
The reason to why Kanye still does 500k in one week is cause he's not a safe player. He's not tying to recreate shyt, the way he feels he raps. And seeing the major changes in his life, it would be fake as fukk to rap the same. Nas does that as well, unlike kanye but he doesn't step out of his comfort zone too much though. Kanye doesn't seem to have a comfort zone, it's just that he came though with the soul samples talking about his ordinary life.
