More than likely, he's gonna tell it via his non-linear flashback style. So it'll be something like Odysseus telling his son of the voyage home.

Im curious if it’s gonna be like “Oh Brother where art tho” where it’s got the set of 1930’s just telling the story of the Odyssey or if they are gonna make it an actual retelling

That's what I'm wondering. I hope it's swords and sandals, same setting as the poem. Last thing I want is some modern shyt. Breh looking for his wife for ten years while I'm wondering...just call her on your cellphone man.


The 1997 one is amazing BTW, highly recommended. Vanessa Williams damn near naked in it.

Is this using The Odyssey as a framework like O Brother, Where Are Thou or a straight adaptation of the story?

Interesting.. we’ve never seen Nolan picture that isn’t grounded in realism. Idk how he’s gonna do this film without some heavy CGI and just using practical effects
