great speech. nobody is holding black people back except black people. one of the main things to take from this is that we gotta come together regardless of the differences. ignorance and division is how we fell.

peace

My thing with the NOI and the likes, are these negros have been preaching since the 40's. But the black community have only gotten worse.

So, something should tell these negros that their method is effective and to go back to drawing board.

I can't ever respect the NOI for how they back stabbed brother Malcolm for telling the truth about Elijah Muhammad. Elijah Muhammad wasn't practicing what he was preaching. And should have been exposed for it.

Any fake leader is counterproductive to black people progression.NOI is no different than the black church.

I can't watch right now, are people referencing the man who always introduces Farrakhan, as the one who might lead next? Thanks.

i love malcolm & the noi, but i think it was mishandled on both parties behalf.

airing out private dirty laundry to the media and creating a damn circus?

who benefited from that?

just like panthers and sncc brawling and eventually blasting each other in the streets (also, a result of bullshyt conflict resolution)...who benefited from that?

these rifts and chasms should have been handled more tactfully & behind closed doors..and we face that problem till this day in the damn streets....so apparently we haven't learned from it, because ultimately, black america took the L and continuies to perpetuate that L

Malcolm was getting death threats and even attempts on his life...he never bashed the NOI nor Elijah Muhammad, he simply wanted to be separate and do his own thing

...that was a no-no to the CIA and the NOI :to:

Only "bashing" he did was exposing of the NOI's background and leader through his autobiography which came out after his death. However, telling your side of the story isn't exactly bashing, but when people are doing wrong and trying to give off a certain image of doing right, well.........[KEVIN]somebody had to go[/HART] :mjpls:
