in NYC they are very well represented. I ride the train & bus almost everyday and a lot of the conductors/drivers are black men. Same with sanitation workers.

Extremely stable, low maintenance, well paying jobs that mostly dont require college degrees.

Sanitation workers earn almost 90K after 6 years of working. They hire 500 people every year and prefer "minority" workers that live in the city

1 in 7 MTA workers in NYC earned over 100k

Civil servants make lot of money in big metro areas

That one woman with the afro was the only one spitting any knowledge. She brought up a good point that black men aren't unicorns and sometimes assembly is required. That's the problem, too many women unrealistically want the finished product and don't want to build with a man. That broke grad student now could be the Wall Street executive/doctor/civil service administrator/Big Law attorney in 10 years.
