You do realize because of the shortened week players have less time to recover from their Sunday games? Also, because of the shortened week players and coaches have less time to analyze game film and develop game plans. It's the perfect storm for upsets.

Yet we been having Thanksgiving games since the 20s. If Dallas and Detroit can play one game a year, every year, on a Thursday i see no reason why it would be bad for any other team.
