I'm so mad this show is ending, it's so damn good right now. Even if the last few minutes was a little contrived.

Every second that ACNgage dude was on screen was gold.
Sloan snatched that dudes soul...even the fake water sip couldn't hide the ether she was giving him.

:obama: Called it early in the episode and my girl gave me the :rudy: which changed into the :ohhh:while I was like :steviej:

I've been kinda meh on this season. I loathe Maggie's character which doesn't help, but I think what was really fukking with me was the fact that all the conversations have that machine gun delivery to them. I don't know if that's a trademark of Sorkin's but it's a little much.

That's my one gripe with the show. Sometimes the rapid banter can make it a little more entertaining, but for the most part I'm just thinking nobody actually has conversations like that.

I was wondering what happened to the dude in the cell with him. This is why I'm addicted to the Coli, y'all have all the answers.

I'm the only one who thinks Sloan was feeling herself a little bit too much?

I mean, fair enough you got problems with dude's app but he's only taking instructions from THE boss & in all honesty, that's the decision maker & the person she should have addressed in a more nuanced manner.

Real talk - If the dialogue was a piece of music half of the show would sound like this:

I need my shyt more like jazz. And with different dynamics between different characters.

They didn't have to kill Charlie off like that. He was my favorite character :to:

pretty much. its like they never just stop and think before they speak and of course they always have the answer, and its always smart and witty. apparently theres no dumb fukks working at acn like the rest of the working world.

After this episode HBO gotta convince Sorkin to do another six episodes. He seems to be thriving now that he doesn't need any filler.

Sunday's episode was probably the best episode of the entire series. It was probably the best episode of all the TV I've watched this fall. Deserves award nominations.

The rape scene was spot on. I felt sorry for the girl. I feel sorry for all rape victims. But running a site where people can anonymously claim rape against whoever they want to is completely unacceptable. I think Don did an amazing job of proving this, without crossing the line as coming off as some kind of rape sympathizer or whatever.

The girl erroneously compares the cons against each other. She thinks if she can PREVENT 1 rape that its more beneficial than the fallout from 1 false rape accusation. The problem is, she doesnt get to decide what constitutes rape. Our judicial system does. The general public does not get to serve as prosecutor, judge, and jury. And the fact that the site does no vetting, and does not require the victim to even give their name. We cant anonymously convict people. This website wouldnt solve any problems, it would just create more victims.

The scene will Will in jail was also amazing. There was so much foreshadowing in the scene I didnt even notice. First, when he walks in the cell the 2nd bed isnt even made up because it will not be used. Then Will and the guard talk, and the guard tells him about the last guy that spent a few days in there slowly started to lose his mind from being in solitary. Then you hear the cellmate and Will talking. There are things about Will the guy somehow just knows, and things Will knows about the guy somehow. "your dad was a drunk" or "your dad used to beat you" and Will saying "this isnt the first time you've hit her" or "i'm not intimidated by my wife being smarter than me, like you are." You assume they're both just good at reading people. At one point in the conversation Will even says that he is in solitary confinement. You assume he means he WAS in solitary, but he's not anymore.

Then at the end, they dont even address it they just show the picture, and the bed is there unmade again. You just go :ohhh:

Charlie at the end, you could see it coming all episode. The dude looked like he was going to have a nervous breakdown all episode. That, combined with his age, I think we all told ourselves facetiously, "man this nikka gonna fukk around and have seizure or heart attack or somethin he better back the fukk up 'for he get smacked the fukk up" then at the end he really does have a heart attack.

It is, and it is the same criticism I've made a couple pages ago about Sorkins writing. Every line of dialogue is so quick, and so witty, there are lots of times I miss some real gems...and a lot of times I miss some parts of the story. I actually think Sloan Sabbath's character is the worst. In order for Sorkin to drive point the home that shes the smartest character on the show, he makes her talk the fastest and have the wittiest comebacks. It can be so unrealistic its actually a detriment to the show.

I'm the only one who thinks Sloan was feeling herself a little bit too much?

Yeah I thought she came off as a bytch in that scene, and I totally didnt side with her although I do think that app is kinda fukked up.

Watch the original interview its based off of:

Sorkin took lines, verbatim, from the actual interview and used it in the show. But in the Kimmel interview, Kimmel comes off as sympathetic while the gawker girl comes off as a bytch. On the newsroom episode, it was exactly opposite. She was personally attacking this guy on public television which is extremely unprofessional. At the end of the day, all he did was create an app. What ACN does with the app is really out of his control. He didnt personally deserve what she did to him up there.

All in all though, an amazing episode. This entire season has been phenomenal. I would like to see a full 12 episodes, but thats not what we're getting so I've accepted it. The show rebounded nicely from what I thought was a lackluster 2nd season...and I firmly believe when its all said and done we're going to look back at this show as one of the best of the last decade or whatever. The problem I have with most American television is they drag the shyt out for way too many season. Great shows turn shytty because they carry on too long. So I'm kinda glad this show will go out on top.
